One of the purpose of the EDUPLAY project is to establish a dynamic European learning community that empowers early childhood practicioners, researchers and stakeholders to enhance the quality of ECEC through meaningful, research-informed and effective use of play.

Spread awareness of play in ECEC and its role in promoting high-quality and inclusive systems across the EU. Foster cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange between Initial Teacher Education (ITE), Continuing Professional Development (CPD) providers, and stakeholders on an international scale. The EDUPLAY network aims to bring together pre-service and in-service early childhood practitioners, researchers, and key actors to develop and promote innovative, evidence-based practices that position play at the heart of ECEC.

The Annual Network Meetings, an initiative of the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency, serve as key events for fostering cross-European collaboration, dialogue, and knowledge exchange among Erasmus+ Teacher Academies and wider education stakeholders. The meetings aim to promote mutual learning, share good practices, and strengthen international cooperation by establishing connections with other relevant networks, academies, or initiatives in the field of teacher education.
